SUMMARY

I have been working with ERP packages in technical and functional roles for approximately seven years, four of the seven years working with PeopleSoft, Inc.  My product experience includes PeopleSoft EPM 8.8 with Budgeting, Business Planning, Balanced Scorecard/Enterprise Scorecard, Workforce Scorecard, 8.3 HRMS, 8.8 CRM, 8 CRM Upgrade Toolkit, and Vantive CRM.  My technical experience includes customizations involving Peoplecode, App Engine, VBA, Oracle stored procedures, and more.  I have obtained multiple PeopleSoft certifications including EPM, Technology, CRM, and Vantive.  My multiple certifications and extensive project experience position me as a strong candidate for any PeopleSoft 8 project or any other general technical opportunities.  I have also presented at the annual PeopleSoft User’s Conference (Connect) for various topics including performance tuning and past successful engagements.  Furthermore, I have worked well in high-pressured fast-moving “firefight” environments and have demonstrated to be a valuable team member.  My initiative and depth of knowledge has earned me the coveted “Company Maker Rating” within PeopleSoft, Inc.

·                     Successfully managed all technical aspects of implementation from fit gap to go live which lead to a successful implementation and extremely satisified and referencable client for PeopleSoft, Inc.

·                     Reconfigured multiple Informatica Servers on UNIX instead of the NT environment and took advantage of using aliases for ease of development migration.

·                     Registered all XML Links created for the HRHD Project in Tools 8.19.

·                     Employed the switchUserID function to change users and authenticate users between CRM and HCM using the token passed from CRM 8.8 to HR environment.

·                     Successfully processed 80,000+ employees in a 1 hour 15 minute elapsed time period by concurrent/parallel processing (including functional and technical setup and analysis) which before tuned took in excess of 40 hours.

·                     Tuning efforts included: seating tables with necessary data, conducting runstats, row level locking on specific tables, partitioning tables, setting lock escalation parameters including lock wait, etc., conducting explain plans, checking bufferpool and system resources, analyzing initiators and bat priority level, and more.

·                     Analyzed access paths taken by specific SQL, created additional indexes as necessary, and tuned SQL where necessary.

·                     Created JCL’s, test data necessary, and initiated jobs to facilitate testing; used Omegemon and Ejes to monitor jobs initiated.

·                     Analyzed and tuned online pages to be efficient in performance when many users (15,000-20,000) are accessing the same page.

·                     Analyzed, evaluated, and reconfigured existing setup of App Server (6) and Web Server (3) and tuned as necessary.

·                     Created and analyzed reports from Silk Performer (Performance Tool) and tuned the App Server as necessary which involved monitoring the performance of the App Server.

·                     Evaluated current setup, then validated proper setup of Time and Labor, and also identified incorrect setup issues that were affecting the performance of the processes.

·                     Rule setup analysis conducted including the rules, rule templates, and rule programs.  Also troubleshooted any rules as necessary.

·                     Conducted presentations and administered training as necessary which covered the Time and Labor Performance enhancements, Debugging App Engine processes, and parallel processing.

·                     Identified missing tables, indexes, and temp table instances.  Rebuilt scripts and fixed as necessary.

·                     Created DMS Scripts, Test Scripts, and all Test Scenarios as necessary.

·                     Fixed Run Time Statistics (RSL) to function correctly.

·                     Tuned Time and Labor Module on the Oracle Database; eliminated the parsing memory overheard (App Engine) by taking advantage of cursors, created Indexes where necessary, and identified the slow running SQL statements.

·                     Developed better ways of setting up the development/test/stage/training/production database environments and made suggestions on improvements to reduce bottlenecks and inconsistencies within the environments.

·                     Conducted basic training to technical staff on optimizing and tuning SQL statements, how to use Oracle’s TKPROF utility, Oracle’s Explain Plan, Hints, Hash Joins, etc.

·                     Worked closely with the DBA in insuring statistics were being done on the database regularly.

·                     Identified relevant processing tables and determined if they were being updated correctly based on the Time Admin process.

·                     Identified the slow running App Engine steps and tuned as necessary resulting in at least a 50% increase, and as much as 80%.

·                     Conducted tests to insure that Payable Time was being created correctly based on the setups of the Rules and groups setup by the client, including prior pay period.

·                     Created test scripts to validate the Time Admin process for Elapsed, Punch, and Exceptional Time Reporters.

·                     Created Database Import/Export scripts to allow test scripts to run more efficiently with multiple iterations.

Staff Consultant: PeopleSoft Product Development QA, Pleasanton, CA – CRM Upgrade Toolkit

Lead Technical QA Analyst for product development that would be used to upgrade all PeopleSoft CRM customers.

·                     Revised and tested the “smoke test script” to document any bugs and fixes needed for the PeopleCode, App Engine processes, SQL statements, and more.

·                     Created test scripts for all possible scenarios using the Meta Data - Extraction Transformation Load (ETL) Tool for all the database environments including SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 Unix, and DB2 OS390.  (For use by the internal department and automation team)

·                     Setup and maintained the DB2 O390 testing environment by updating projects, applying “hot fixes”, building tables and views, and anything else necessary to insure both Databases A and B stayed current and running.
